Airlines may impose stricter limits than security authorities, and foreign customs and import laws are entirely separate from what passes a security checkpoint. Each page displays a "last verified" date; that date describes when we last checked our sources, not a guarantee that a rule is current on the day you travel.

3. Your responsibility

For anything that matters — medication, valuables, instruments, items you cannot afford to lose or surrender — you are responsible for confirming current rules directly with your airline and the relevant screening authority before you travel. You use the information on this site at your own risk.
